This is an on-going campaign about privacy at RISD. The starting point of this project is a security level of RISD Mug Book. Someone who has a RISD ID can check any other RISD students ID photo, name and degree because this document is a unprotected PDF format. In response to this, flyers were designed including each students encoded ID photo based on his or her information, and a magazine, including those photos, and decoded information was distributed as well. Text of George Orwells Nineteen Eighty-Four was encoded into the bar code picture, as a metaphor of a scanning system, and then mixed with students id photos.
