aufgedeckt! / exhibition

aufgedeckt!
aufgedeckt!

aufgedeckt! in German has a double meaning: to set a table and reveal something. The exhibition about Professor Karl Dittert – product designer and founding rector of the College of Design Schwäbisch Gmünd – does both. On the stairs in the university building the life of the today 94-year-old designer is revealed. While walking up the stairs the visitor metaphorical climbs the ladder of Karl Dittert. At the top an eight meter long table is set with selected works of the designer. They demonstrate the development of the design discipline and illustrate the history of todays University of Applied Sciences. aufgedeckt! is living history.
