The Rezon / Acoustic musical instrument

The Rezon
The Rezon

“Over the last 50 years especially, Western acoustic instruments themselves have failed to adapt, and are perhaps in danger of becoming fossilised” (quotation by Patrick Ozzard-Low). The Rezon is a concept which demonstrates a tendency in the evolution of acoustic instruments, as much in sounds which an instrument can perform, as in the techniques of playing it. The instrument is focused on a microtonal scales (richer tonal spectrum), which provides a new harmony of contemporary acoustic music compositions. It has 2 octaves and 15 tones per octave. It can be played in four predicted ways, while others are left to the creativity of a musician.
