Yuktibu / Electronic Reading Lectern

Yuktibu
Yuktibu

Yuktibu is a contemporary remake of the traditional Rahle, the reading lectern, used predominantly in the Muslim World and occasionally by the Jewish. The new design, Yuktibu (which means “it dictates” in semitic languages), is an e-book reader, designed especially for the conservative users that are reluctant use technological devices for worshiping. Though designed mainly for the religious purposes, it can also be used for non religious e-books.
With speakers on each side, Yuktibu also serves as a Hatip, a Koran orator. With the help of a built-in text-to-speech software, Yuktibu also vocalizes any other text in a recognizable e-book format
