Starting point was a series of experiments that investigates possible combinations of silicon and cloth.

How can silicone characteristics like durability, flexibility and resistance to water be combined with haptical qualities of cloth?

The viscous silicon is colored and pressed on the lace. On parts where the textile is not tightly stitched the silicone pervades the mesh and brings contrast to the texture of the lace.

Through the combination of silicone and lace the surface receives a new materiality and feels comfortable on the skin.
