During the practical part of my diploma, I created series of fabrics, in which each level is kept as a separate step and stands independently for a new design quality. This way, the transformation of an untreated piece of cloth up to the discovery of a new species will be shown. I decided to work with multiple variations of textile finishing processes. The technical realization is dominated by: burnout, Sodium hydroxide bath/-paste, textile glue in connection with paper. The developed textiles are usable as tapestry in interiors or fabrics for fashion and accessories. Video: www.clara-schober.de/video/mimikry1
