Blood pressure meters are very sensitive. Banging or dropping them can damage the internal mechanisms leading to false readings. This can be disastrous for patients and their treatment. The newly developed two components technology avoids any potential impact and protects the measuring system against shock. Its unique features include a new metal air channel, which results in stable needle deflection in both directions. The high-precision air release valve can now be turned without any resistance and is resistant to wear and tear. The R1 shock-proof is available in a variety of different sizes and cuff options.
