Doosan Art Square

Corporate architecture

Art Square is an advanced configuration of traditional model houses. It displays not only a sample of a house, but also the brand image of itself by representing the modern residential culture with art, culture, and corporate communication spaces. Architect Jang Soon Gak collaborated with a pottery artist and used white porcelain as an exterior material to create cultural elements, and estabilish itself as a landmark. It shows Korean traditional beauty, and also takes place as an urban art. Art Square is divided into two parts and the “bending wall” covers the box figure of the building. Filled with LED lights, motion graphics and messages can be exhibited on “bending walls”. It chrashes the box and leads via a stairway directly to the concert hall, which is the inside of the building with wooden panel materials. It also covers the inside walls which defines a mild, cosy atmosphere.
