Branding campaign for the new 'Udon noodle' product composed of gourd powders.
For making the new brand, I focused on two tasks of design.
One was to make the friendly design which would be remembered at one glance at store.
The other one was to make the high class design which was able to compete with other traditional high class Udon brands.
To solve these seemingly-contradict tasks, I made the new character of Kanpyo(gourd) with the touch of traditional Japanese calligraphy drawn on Japanese paper.
