The cube as a perfect form and more: DMC is a distinctive media figure, housing Turkey’s leading media group. Main form is a cube in respect to the square site; the cube form deformed and re-structured by cubic annex and subtraction that resulted in extra volumes. A genuine building in terms of transparency; strong in-out correlation enables a well-defined description before getting in the building. Separate sections like studios preserve their exclusivity. The emblematic use of façade resembling Braille alphabet accentuates “communication is for all”. The building is strongly perceived from afar and materializes as an eye-catching “sign”.
