The book attends to the fascination that made people once start collecting unknown natural objects in curiosity cabinets back in the 16th century.
Historic documents in the middle of the book are bordered by two sections showing items of a natural history collection. The first part combines objects with text excerpts taken from 16th century natural history books, while the second half shows labelled objects combined with actual terms of natural scientific classification.
The perception changed from an image to term it seems to miss the fascination now and makes an end to the dialogue between the observer and the object.
