sol.FM is a mobile solar panel to provide energy while trekking outside the range of a power grid. The solar panel is wrapped up inside the tube and can be drawn out in order to use the sun as a power supply. Two fiber glass poles are bent and installed between the tube and the pole at the end of the solar panel.
The battery in the power unit at the top end of the tube is charged. The energy can be used for the light in the power unit or for external devices such as GPS. The light can operate in 360 degrees-mode (for nightly tours in groups) or focus on a spot.
