Every time you open the fridge, the cold air flees out. To reach the appropriate temperature to preserve the food, your fridge must reboot its cooling system and consume large amount of electricity.
People always intuitively reach fridge handle before opening it. If we put a sensor on the handle and the surface of fridge door becomes transparent once you touch it, users can easily find and grab the items they need in minimal time. In this way, we can effectively avoid cold air fleeting and consuming extra electricity. The surface of fridge door remains like a mirror while the handle untouched, so it wont become the ugly spot in the room.
