OrA / Wrist-watch

OrA project suggests a different way to display time in mechanical watches product family. OrA is based on the concept of the “cyclicity of time” and the idea that time is rolling as it passes by, always in a periodical way. This proposal is visualized by displaying time information (day, hour, minutes) in 3 different tapes, one for each time information. The tapes are arranged like interwoven surfaces to point out that their indications are linked and dependent the one from the other to present time. Finally, the watch’s case design is absolutely prescribed by the mechanism’s layout to stress its functions and uniqueness.
