mafou is considered as the main part of a mobility concept in 2038, linked into a network of waterways and docking stations. It abrogates the ostensive antagonism between being at home and being en-route while it is intended both as a place of living and working for people of all ages who like exploring the world.
mafou uses a species of algae to generate hydrogen [H], converted eco-friendly to energy via fuel cell. Algae Modules, inserted into the comb-like supporting structure of the outer shell, gain H by photosynthetic reaction. In addition to effective H storage in carbon nanotubes it enables the vehicle to create its own electricity
