FEAR OF INJECTIONS / Syringe

FEAR OF INJECTIONS
FEAR OF INJECTIONS

Main idea was, to change the sharp, menacing appearance of the syringe into a more trustworthy one. Using the device with one hand permits eye contact between the medic and patient. Instead of only the thin needle, a bigger surface touches the skin. The semi-automatic devise for intramuscular injections in the delta muscle consists of a body, which is used several times, and parts which are removed after each run. A particular element is the handle, which allows to hold the instrument between forefinger and middle finger. That enables the thumb to operate the button freely. The needle is visible but it does not dominate the object.
