My aim was to visualize that composing a kitchen could be like the process of making a collage: evolving like the decoration of the rest of the home where FRAME is the core item. The name refers to the characteristic steel frame that can not only enclose a table top (which becomes a generous work surface) but also an oversized sink in which all the messy steps of preparing food can be taken care of. FRAME enables people to be spontaneous when cooking given the possibility to place the design inside, outside, or free in space. With parts that easily can be exchanged or restored FRAME takes a stand against the wear and tear mentality.
