In case of a premature birth the infant is not capable to breathe on its own. That is why it receives respiratory support while it is in the hospital. The interface between the the respiratory machine and the little patient are the so-called PRONGS, smalles tubes that are inserted into the infants nose.
The task was to design a product that complies with hospital requirements and on the other hand does not appear too complex.
We met both requirements with a formally reduced design.
