News Code is a public news display concept using QR Code as the medium of the news context and E-paper as the public news bulletin. News subjects, acommpanied with a unique QR Code graphic beside, are displayed as a bulletin on the public display. Users can first choose their preferable subjects, and then snap a picture of the relevent QR Code graphic with the camera on their mobile phones. A decoder program preinstalled in the phone is to translate the graphic into text content. In this way, users can easily enjoy their news reading on the go, while more importantly, having the freedom to choose what to read.
