The purpose of this concept is the design of a rescue device for persons in distress at sea.
Either on oil platforms, cruise liners, transport ships or open sea yachts in cold water and at rough sea there is high risk of life. A successful sea rescue is only possible when danger is detected on time, and the drowning person at open sea is located and rescued rapidly. Thus SRD detects the person in water, drives to him, loops around him and blows up air-bags, like a life buoy, around the drowning person.
