swings for everyone / art installation (public bench)

swings for everyone
swings for everyone

swings for everyone (minnano buranco)

This work is a 7-bench installation in a park, in the fashionable area of Daikanyama in Tokyo, JAPAN.
The benches are like swings hanging from the sky.
The floating feeling was produced by 2 poles(fishing rods) placed on either side of the benches extending upwards disappearing into the sky giving the benches the appearance of hanging freely.
And the base of bench is mirrored on all 4 sides to complete the image of a bench seemingly hanging in mid-air.
Please take a rest on the swing.
Grandpa, Grandma, Father, Mother, Brother, Sister, Baby, Dog,,,,Everyone can sit on the swings.
