Elodie / Vibraacoustic Digitalpiano System

Elodie
Elodie

«Elodie» is a pianosystem consisting of a digitalpiano and two flexible, laminar soundboards from pine wood and aluminium.
This project combines the advantages of the lower weight and compact design of a digital piano with the sound characteristics of the sound board of an acoustic piano while taking into consideration the level of sound quality desired by a professional musician. It also allows the musician to experiment with sound and space.
The sound boards are independent from the body of the piano, small, they can be placed on the floor, transported or hung on a wall.
Vibraacoustic technique is applied to sound the two soundboards.
