Bamboo Lamp / Lighting

Bamboo Lamp
Bamboo Lamp

The basic concept came from module design combined with the structure of bamboos. Each node has its own two covers, a light bulb, and the circuit. Users can determine how many nodes they need, which light bulb they want to turn on, and even change the colours of the lamp to fit their mood or the environment. It is easy to change the light bulbs and colours to satisfy users’ various requirements, not to mention it is a stylish addition to a dull room. Chiyu Chen designed this lamp as an example to propose a possible way through which designers can fit customers’ expectations of individualism and marketing criteria.
