A morning on the way to work
saw an arsonist setting the
inside of subway train on fire.
A subway crew turned the
power off to prevent another fire.
The darkness brought the
passengers to chaos.
They began losing a sense
of direction in their struggle to
find the exits, and eventually
succumbed to death by gas
intoxication.
Light would have saved many of
their lives.
In the wake of the Daegu subway
tragedy, we redesigned the handles
in the interior of train for an easy
access to save as many lives as we
can in the even of future disaster.
It's a handle
that emits the light.
