Carbon net offers a unique analysis tool from which a theoretical design response is evolved. A design strategy was developed to control the carbon net. A series of tools and solutions have been suggested to stimulate and track the carbon reduction.
A grid system is carefully layout to the surface of the city to describe the emission rate of individual emitters. Individual carbon emission profile is unified into a net to visualize the city. The peak and valleys of the net identify the vulnerable and potential areas for future operation. Diverse urban actors add to the complexity of carbon net which is illustrated in its day and night shifts.
