Photographs of strangers are the starting-point of my collection, the first stimulus that moves me to keep this or that picture. In summer 2007, I began to work up my collection of found old photographs into an archive. The archive contains two semantic levels. On the one hand, the found pieces are localised as far as possible in their original context. On the other, I add a subjektiv plane of interpretation to them. There I note where and when found each photograph was found, why I am keeping them and to which category I assign them in my collection.
