A watchtower identifies people who get in trouble in the sea by using infrared thermal imaging cameras. Next, laser scanner in the watchtower locates a drowning man by calculating the time and angle of the reflected image of the drowning man. A receiving device in rescue robot gets location information from the watchtower. Then, the robot rescues people by itself. The rescue robot can recharge itself by solar energy.
