This kettle focuses on the convenience of users while working in front of the desk. By incorporating already established object on desk, lamp, with the concept of heat source to boil liquid such as tea, this kettle allows users to enjoy tea without leaving ones workspace. The primary advantage of the Lamp kettle lies in its time and space saving aspect that comes with an unique way of boiling water.
It also allows user to utilize previously seemed wasted heat energy from incandescent lamp into practical use of boiling water which led us to shift our notion of incandescent lamps primary function as a lighting system to heating system.
