As we get used to taking things around us as single entities rather than part of a whole, people rarely understand why analog timepieces consistently inform us of the time with the hour and minute hands. Although their outside appearances vary, the mechanics of how the two hands operate is an invariable method. Chiyu Chen is trying to convey the original idea of how timepieces were developed by using new technology: LEDs and a driver. Through sticking your finger into the light and interacting with the big circle, not only would it leave users utterly astonished, but they can also touch the history of timepieces. Time, you finger it out!
