Flughafen FN / Airport Friedrichshafen

Flughafen FN
Flughafen FN

This new airport terminal for Friedrichshafen will be a keystone tourist attraction in this aviators refuge, along with the Zeppelin museum and the newly opened Dornier museum. The building has an inner functional core surrounded by two correlating, ramping loops where all traffic flows under or overcut each other as needed.
With the functional core on the one side and the apron on the other side of the ramping loops, this architectural concept allows passengers and visitors alike to observe the full capacity of the airport with a horizontally (360°) and also vertically changing perspective on their way to the gates or the gastronomy area.
