Hackl / one-hand shifter

Hackl
Hackl

„Hackl“ is a design-study of an innovative one-hand shifter for ergonomic handling of a combined gearshift-system, as the Dual-Drive made by SRAM.
The gear-selection works with a dual-purpose shifter, that tends a 3-speed gear hub and a 9-speed rear derailleur. An energy-efficient e-Paper display can show the gears as well as bike trails and sightseeing advices or informations about vital data, wich can be measured by a sensor-element that is integrated in the handlebar.
The design focusses formal, technical and ergonomic demands of different target groups, which are dedicated to the trekkingbike-market.
