The 4P is a new camera system designed for the action sports industry. It applies existing technology in a novel manner to totally redefine the relationship of a camera to its user. This new system eliminates the need for a photographer as the camera can track its subject autonomously.
The two parts of the system are the camera and the gps beacon. The GPS beacon, or Perch, can be worn anywhere on the body and has a simple velcro fastener. The beacon, when active, sends out a gps signal that the camera will recieve and use to track. The beacon also acts as a remote control to the camera.
