Wasserbus / Sustainable Watercraft

Wasserbus
Wasserbus

Wasserbus is a sustainable watercraft for public transport in cities. The project includes concepts for the routes as well as the stops. The craft is supposed to be an useful addition to the land-based public transport and to benefit from rivers as a natural system. Wasserbus has a terrace for a relaxed ride. The doors can be stored in the back thus the conventional barrier between inside and outside are abrogated. The actuation consists of a jet-drive which protects animals and shores. It also uses a catamaran shaped design, causing less friction ressistance and waves. Organic photovoltaics are installed to support the electrical system.
