STB Project Stripe to the Bone is developed to work out the very piece of left over marble, as it is a no-recyclable material, and most of the left over of this noble stone is used for landfill. The hardness of marble and its unique palette of colour open us a possibility to explore it in a deeper context. Most of marble is cut into slabs of 2cm thickness, therefore, in the STB Project the reused rod of marbles have the same measurement, although the width is of 2 or 3cm with no specific length, glued with resign, and instead of using a single colour, a pattern of different colours can be created to give life and purpose to the piece.
