This project had the objective to create a resting furniture for doctors on duty in Hospitals. In the aesthetic aspect, the user should perceive a more humanized furniture, with a more residencial aspect (looking more like a residential furniture) if compared to hospital usual furniture, through their design and use of materials. With regard to functionality, it was aimed to have a good use of space, ease of assembly and disassembly, hygiene, safety and comfort. In the symbolic aspect, the user should feel invited to enjoy the furniture as a reference to coziness and not only as a means to satisfy a physiological need, which is resting.
