ERGOline / Control panel

universal design award 2009

universal design award 2009

The “new design” for the new generation of lathes and milling machines is as bold as it is well thought out, with customer benefits clearly highlighted: huge safety windows – compared with the predecessors they have been enlarged by up to 80% – give an overall view and render the working process more transparent. The new 19 inch monitors and control panels are more reminiscent of modern flat screen monitors than machine control systems. Since they can be rotated and swivelled in all directions they can be adapted ergonomically perfectly to the requirements of the operator, thus allowing a clear overall view never before known.
