The above concept is a brake lever for a babies pram/pushchair that converts from a standard operating brake to a deadmans brake by simply pulling a lever. The idea being that during normal use, ie on flat land, the brake lever would function normally when needed. If the user came to a section that was steep or in someway dangerous that gave them concern the brake lever could easily function as a deadmans brake, stopping the pram if the user let go, say if she had fallen over.
