Every year many firefighters are injured or killed. Especially industrial gazes involve a high risk potential.

firegard as “first man”

The firefighting robot firegard is radio-controlled by an operator and can work on dangerous and difficultly accessible sites. It is able to detect data necessary for planning the firefighting operations and to transmit them to the incident command. Modern sensor and camera technology allows determining the concentration of gases and the extent of the fire. firegard is equipped with tanks allowing firefighters access to the fire source by making firebreaks using impulse fire extinguishing technology.
