the hangbe's / hanging furniture in trees

The hanging furniture in trees, named „the hangbe‘s“ is a result of my desires for some quietness, a relaxing area just for me, far away from all the stress and strain.

„the hangbe‘s“ is a furniture family including a lamp, a picture frame a sofa and a limp-prothesis. I created the prothesis, because I care about the healthiness of the tree. It can be easily tied to the conical shaped trunk of a tree. A rainwater-run off in the sofa (of Polythelen) bleeds water off. A Candle inside of the lamp makes the silhouette of an electric bulb visible.
"the hangbe's" are static and inspired by children drawings.
