A range of bicycle components have been developed from a special sandwich material. The two thin aluminum layers separated by a layer of PP form a lightweight and stiff material. The mudguard and the chain fender are the lightest on the market and can be produced in a wide range of dimensions with minor tooling costs. The functional properties and material constraints determined the design resulting in a minimalistic hight-tech look which appeals to its target group.
