The nemus concept.bike is a bike study with an ecological background, where we want to be responsive to sustainability and the problems of lightweight design using natural material. Frame and wheel fork were constructed with tubes of wood, which were especially developed and produced by us. The tubes are made of multiple veneer layers, which were squeezed and glued to one another. In this way lightweight tubes with high stability and stiffness were generated. If they are produced with biological resin, then they can be burned under co2-neutral emission and the aluminium-lugs can be recycled. The study has the weight of 9.6kg.
