Readot / Communication device for the visually impaired

Discipline: Professional Concept

Discipline: Professional Concept

The Readot is a revolutionary device to help the visually impaired communicate and experience the world as others do in a normal day-to-day life. By raising the dots it can create images, text, shapes and portraits, which are based on 10 heat nuances and on the Munsell color system making red the warmest and blue the coolest. Using latest up-to-date technology the Readot allows users to take photos, recall photos from storage or scan just about everything and, within seconds, be able to visualize it. It can even be hooked up to computers via USB allowing users to view digital pictures and Internet websites.
