Discipline: Communication

The “LOKSTOFF! Theater” performs theater in public areas. In 2008, the premiere of “Hamlet” was held at the Stuttgart train station. The communicative measures for the play function along the lines of the orchestration as well as with the specifics of a public area: spectators within the passersby had to be distinguishable and divided into two groups. For this purpose – as a quotation from the military subplot sashes were developed, which at the same time functioned as a program – and were able to be stowed away in a small metal quiver. This way the spectators were at the same time an integral element of the orchestration.
