On the occasion of its 50th anniversary, a book was to be published about
the history of the electronic data processing centre of the Bundeswehr in
Wahn (Rechenzentrum Wahn). According the style of instruction manuals for
early computers, the documentation was placed in a ring binder with
slipcase. The developments at the electronic data processing centre were put
into the context of the history of electronic data processing in general in
order to enhance practical value. IT history is told in five interwoven
strands. With blue, underlined cross references and an index, this print
medium pays homage to the internet.
