The Freiheiz hall, known simply as the "Freiheiz", is a new theater in
Munich aimed at young audiences. Located in an ancient heat and power plant,
it features cabaret, readings, drama, comedy and music events. The logo is a
combination of a speech balloon as a symbol for the spoken word, and the
fire of the heat and power plant to represent the original function of the
landmarked building. The issue of "Freiheit" (freedom), which is part of the
name, is translated in the handwritten headlines and illustrations in the
communication media.
