At Scholz & Volkmer it is a tradition to create an interactive Christmas campaign for clients, friends and the agency's employees. The motto in 2007 was: count up at the end of the year. "The big Scholz & Volkszaehlung" (German wordplay combining the agency's name and the German word for "census") was a live online game in which the user piloted a real S&V employee, who was equipped with a camera and bar code scanner like the ones used in retail, through the agency's rooms. Whenever he found an employee, he could scan him by using the "bar code gun". In this way, he won points and perhaps even obtained fame and glory on the high score list.
