Our intention was to accompany the traditional advertising campaign Hammer Autumn, launched for the home improvement market OBI, with a cheeky viral campaign. The Hammer theme of the classic campaign was incorporated to the video message by showing a juggler doing a fantastic carpenter job. Since being released, our viral clip has been viewed over 8 million times in Germany. Internet forums have lively discussions concerning the feasibility of the juggling act and whether the clip was part of the classic OBI add campaign. Presently, we have received several requests from TV stations to air the spot on television.
