Schneller Brüter / Nutcracker

Schneller Brüter
Schneller Brüter

"Schneller Brüter" is an ergonomic nutcracker being able to open all current types of nuts. It is designed especially for weaker people, such as kids and old persons. They are able to use two arms in order to open a nut instead of one hand.
My concept is based on the tension of the material.
It consists of a stamped and bended piece of spring steel being handle, hinge and retaining spring at the same time. Handles and base are made of ABS and sticked on the spring steel. The colour of the plastics can be changed according to the chosen target group.
