Inspired by the apperception of a constantly changing cityscape in Berlin, this work deals with the development of unused areas in the centre of Berlin.
On the basis of citymap details (1940 - 2010) the development of the centre is structured into time segments. Thereby the map informations are abstracted through a raster. The surface is devided into squares (through this raster) and their informations are attached to different grayscales (explained through a legend).
The books pages are transparent to visualise the medial use of the squares (areas) by overlay. Texts act as historical classification. The book measures 290x160mm.
