Festland / ground fixation method

Festland
Festland

Festland is a ground fixation method used to protect erosion threatened areas. Cutter, foam injection and seed mill are integrated in one module. The lines cut along the level curves are filled with foam and seed. By and by the growth supporting foam is degraded and vegetation stabilises the ground.
The concept was elaborated in a tool added to an one axis tractor. The machine is especially used in steep areas. Two modules are integrated into the machine. Different protection levels are realised by using the cutters' height adjustment. The foam tanks have been segmented into three well usable parts.
